drafts

how drafts work, how to save your writing, and where to find drafts you started earlier.

drafts let you save your writing and come back to it later before publishing.

auto-saving

when you start writing a post or blog entry, it is automatically saved as a draft as you type. you do not need to manually save. if you close the tab or navigate away, your work is preserved.

finding your drafts

  • sub post drafts: accessible from the user menu under "drafts," or directly at /drafts
  • blog post drafts: go to your profile, click the posts tab, then switch to the drafts view

resuming a draft

click any draft to open it in the editor. you can continue writing, change the sub, or adjust the title before publishing. the draft is updated with every change until you publish or delete it.

publishing

when you are ready to share, click the publish button. the post becomes visible to others and is removed from your drafts list. drafts are only visible to you until you publish.

deleting a draft

if you decide not to publish a draft, you can delete it from the drafts list. deleted drafts cannot be recovered.
